Our Creative Studio at head office has been flat out recently with work for VM (Visual Merchandising / Store Display) and Film Props.  You could say it has taken over my life a little of late!  By far the biggest project in the last month as been these Giant Crepe Paper Roses ..  which varied in size from 1m to 4m!  I had to line each petal with a specially commissioned wire, to ensure that the crepe paper didn’t collapse, and because the client wanted an authentic crepe paper rose to match over 200 smaller 30cm roses (shown next to it above for scale!) it was a creative challenge!  They also wanted some with the heads angled forward to lean against a wall..

They loved them so much they doubled their order …!  All to be completed in the week we moved.  So no I haven’t blogged so much in the last week, but my hands have been a little tied up..

I am properly ‘chuffed’ with the finished work.  A complete ‘alice in wonderland’ piece which adds to my supersize portfolio perfectly.
